The 2027 Cadillac lineup is one of the biggest refreshes the brand has rolled out in years, with new trim structures on the Escalade, real upgrades across the electric lineup, and the first signs that gas powered Cadillacs are making a comeback. 2027 Cadillac Escalade & Escalade ESV

The Escalade lineup gets simpler and more capable for 2027. Cadillac dropped the entry level base 1SA trim along with the rear wheel drive versions of Platinum Luxury and Platinum Sport, so if you want a Platinum trim Escalade now, it comes standard with four wheel drive. The 2027 trim walk is Luxury (2WD or 4WD), Sport (2WD or 4WD), Platinum Luxury (4WD only), Platinum Sport (4WD only), and the supercharged Escalade V, which comes standard with all wheel drive.

New for the year: Sandstone paint, standard Cadillac Digital Key, an Onyx Lite appearance package on Sport trims, and trailer tire pressure monitoring for anyone who tows around Lake Washington or up into the mountains. Both the standard wheelbase Escalade and the extended Escalade ESV get the same updates, and the first 2027 units are already arriving at our Renton showroom.

2027 Cadillac Lyriq & Lyriq V

Cadillac's electric SUV picks up a genuinely useful upgrade this year: a native NACS charging inlet, so Lyriq and Lyriq V drivers can plug straight into a Tesla Supercharger with no adapter needed. 2027 Cadillac Optiq & Optiq V

Cadillac's smallest EV adds Sandstone and Citron Tricoat to its color palette, and the performance minded Optiq V gets an exclusive Deep Ocean Design Edition for drivers who want something visually distinct on Renton streets.

2027 Cadillac Vistiq

The three row electric SUV rounds out the update with new Cashmere and matte Adobe Frost paint, standard Digital Key, and a dealer installed trailering package with a removable hitch, perfect for weekend trips without a permanent hitch hanging off the back. The front grille also switches from chrome to a clean gloss black finish.

Gas Power Is Coming Back to Cadillac

Here is the bigger story for Cadillac fans. Gas powered models are returning. GM CEO Mary Barra confirmed during the company's Q2 2026 earnings call that next generation gas versions of the CT5, XT5, and three row XT6 are moving into production, with build starting in spring 2027 and continuing into 2028. These will sit alongside Cadillac's electric lineup, including the Escalade IQ, Vistiq, Lyriq, and Optiq, giving Renton shoppers a real choice between electric and gas for the first time in years.
